This piece of artwork has an amazing processes story.
I had made this piece in art class while Ii was attending high school.
My art teacher gave us the option to choose warm colors or cool colors. Next, she gives us multiple different tools to manipulate the paint, except for paint brushes.
The tool I used was string. I poured the paint on the the paper in various areas and let it drip down as I held it by different sides in the air.
Once the paint had dried, my art teacher challenged us to create drawings on top of our paintings, using the shapes left behind from the manipulated paint. I choose to draw butterfly and dragonfly shapes on mine.
